Extensive experience using and coaching on estimation, user story writing and sizing, retrospectives, and other Agile techniques
Strong understanding of the Scrum/Agile events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
Experience with the use and configuration of one or more Agile management tools, such as Jira, VersionOne or Rally
Experience with a variety of other Agile approaches and concepts, such as Kanban, Lean, XP, and continuous delivery
Experience with Agile in multi-team organizations is key
Excellent communication, collaboration facilitation, and coaching skills - Ability to productively converse with business stakeholders and engineers alike
Experience working with geographically dispersed team
Scrum Master certification is an asset
Principal Responsibilities
Enable team productivity as a servant leader
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to remove team impediments
Coach teams where Agile principles may not yet be fully understood or adopted, and encourage regular discipline and readiness
Facilitate team meetings and Scrum events
Required
5+ Years as a dedicated Scrum Master or Agile Coach with proven experience delivering working software
Willing and determined to learn quickly, function with limited supervision, solve issues, and stay in close communication with teams
Willing to work in ambiguity
10+ Years of product, project, or technical leadership in a software development environment
